Congratulations to Tessa McQueen and Jazmine Saunders

In 2022, we launched our partnership with Wolf Trap Opera Studio. Each year since, we have worked with the staff at Wolf Trap to select and contract a group of soloists to perform on one of our concerts. We have hosted, coached, and featured these stars of tomorrow in works by Mozart, Rossini, Elgar, Martines, Haydn, and Bizet. In 2024, sopranos Tessa McQueen and Jazmine Saunders wowed us all in Mozart’s Mass in C Minor. After our performance, they both joined the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Program, and this summer, they are making impressive debuts! Jazmine was Papageno (with Will Liverman as Papageno) at Santa Fe Opera and Tessa McQueen performed the role of Tosca at Wolf Trap! Congratulations!
