ECHOES FROM THE WALL:

Honor, Remembrance and Unity

Support this meaningful May 29 performance honoring fallen heroes.

Thank you for your interest in supporting ECHOES FROM THE WALL: Honor, Remembrance, and Unity, a Memorial Weekend concert featuring Albert Tiberio’s stirring Oratorio The Wall, based on the Vietnam commemorative poem by Vietnam veteran and poet James Cvetic.

Produced by The City Choir of Washington (a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization), and held at the beautiful Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, this free concert invites audiences to pause, reflect, and come together in honor of those who have served—especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The program features composer Albert Tiberio's evocative The Wall, a moving work for Narrator, Tenor and Contralto soloists and orchestra inspired by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the commemorative poem by poet and Vietnam veteran James Cvetic. The concert will also include stirring American classics by Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, and more, and conclude with a powerful community sing.
